Windows System Registry Part # 2

In this post I will try to continue the previous post, now we will try to manipulate the Windows Registry for the system.
Dos system is one of the entrance of a computer system windows.
therefore we will try to limit who is allowed to work especial Dos our system.
This manipulation aimed to hide the System Dos Promt so that we can prevent someone from changing the Dos system.

Our initial step into the Windows Registry Editor do as I have explained it in previous posts.

when we are at the window we're looking Registry subkeys [HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies.

Value Name: WinOldApp
Data Type: DWORD Value
Date: 0
Change the value of data with the number 1, which in the mean date given by the windows system default value of 0 means the System Dos displayed if the exchange rate value of 1 means hidden.

Note: not all of the default value is 0 which is given by the windows system itself.

Manipulation of the Registry Editor

First Open directory Registry by clicking the [ Start ] [Run ] and then will open the Run window type the command popud [ regedit ] click [ok].

and will open the windows directory registry editor find the directory [ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Print \ Printers ], then Edit sting [ Default Spool Directory ]  by changing the Value Data [ C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ spool \ PRINTERS ] to a directory other that we will specify. One Example: [C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ E: \ spool \ PRINTERS].

To know the spool capacity is needed we can see on the [Start] [ ControlPanel ] [ Print and Faxes]
[ open a printer ].
